Saw this add pop up today and originally thought that must be listed wrong or an old picture. The add has some poor english, but better than half of the other Craigslist ads I’ve seen, so the only thing out of the ordinary was the price . The link is also below. The area code was close enough to not be suspicious so I did a final check and did a reverse image search. This found much more information on the truck, as well as the same exact pictures with an interior that showed it was stick. Always remember your google image search!

I was about to say “Clearly that is a scam!” but without the benefit of hindsight only the price makes it suspicious.  Everything else is pretty standard CL.

I came across a couple like this today. The titles (like your example) were bad, but possibly human, but then the price was just wrong, and other details poorly entered. Again, as you said, it almost could just be a badly executed ad, but enough there to call it a scam.

My biggest tip off is the image. If the image doesn’t look like it was shot in the same region/metro, I always assume it’s a scam. Mind you, I have always lived in places with extremely distinctive environments and/or mountains. This is probably harder to do in some parts of the east/southeast/plains.

Yeah, i’ve definitely seen more than a few with sandy beaches and palm trees, which are not normal in Pittsburgh, hahaha

Yeah, in Hindsight, definitely a scam, but finding it on a random search had me thinking.
